Hi, everyone. I've been posting this on all my social networking sites. I'm holding an art sale as a fundraiser for my transition. Once I'm able to do so, I will be going by Gianni instead of Gemma.

Hi, my name is Gianni. I'm a really average working class kid who likes the Bruins, goes to art school.... and I'm currently trying to transition from female to male. I'm a painter and musician in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm also very sick, I have countless severe allergies and I also suffer from fibromyalgia.
My health issues make it very difficult for me to hold a job or even get a job; I'm very limited in the kinds of work I can actually do. Because of my health, I had to completely ignore being transgender for several years. But now I am finally healthy enough to focus on my gender and transitioning. I am currently in gender therapy and I still need to be approved for hormone treatment, as my health issues are drawing out the process. The only real issue is, I have no steady income. I sell a painting here and there, but it's not even close to enough to pay for copays, new clothes, binders, etc.
This fund is mostly for social transitioning things, things that will aid me in passing as male. I have to change my entire wardrobe and I also need binders and a decent, comfortable stp. It is also for my copays and costs of transition related physicals, blood tests, etc. If you contribute, you will be making an enormous impact on my life. My quality of life will increase dramatically. If the goal amount isn't reached, any acquired funds will still go towards transitioning. I'm really just trying to be able to live a normal, comfortable life.

(On my websites, most of my recent works are elaborate figure studies because I am in the process of preparing for a major figure/portrait series project.)
*If you donate $50 - $99, you'll be getting an original oil pastel drawing of something nice like a nature scene or an animal. These can be custom! I specialize in stylized surreal and abstract work so those are also options. Email me at paintingsbygemma@yahoo.com if there is something specific you want. If you don't want anything specific and just want something random, don't email me and I'll just draw something up for you.
*If you can donate $100 or more, which is the most amazing thing that could ever happen to me, you'll be getting a custom oil painting. You will be getting an oil painting on a stretched canvas I built myself. These are completely custom, so basically I'll be doing a discounted commission to show you how much I really do appreciate you're incredible help. Email me at paintingsbygemma@yahoo.com and tell me what you want a painting of. I can even color-coordinate the painting to a room you would want to hang it in. Please note that it will take a few weeks to get an oil painting. Since these are custom, I have to build the canvas, prime the canvas, do the painting, and I also have to wait for it to be completely dry and then varnish it before it can ship.
